Hi, I am looking for an experienced kitchen fitter to carry out a number of outstanding installation, reconfiguration and remedial works to my existing kitchen. The kitchen is approximately 4,070 mm long, with runs of approximately 1,760 mm on one side and 1,814 mm on the other. I already have the kitchen units, replacement worktop, appliances and other materials required, with the exception of the extractor, so I am looking for a fitter to carry out the installation and remedial work rather than supply and install a new kitchen. The works I require are broadly as follows: Dishwasher: Reconfigure the installation so that the integrated dishwasher door can open sufficiently for normal loading and unloading. This will involve relocating the dishwasher into the position currently occupied by a cabinet unit, and using its existing position for the replacement cabinet unit. Corner cabinet/refrigerator: Correct the configuration so that the corner pull-out cabinet door and internal mechanism can operate fully without being obstructed by the refrigerator. This will involve extending the worktop and the corresponding upper and lower cabinet storage units, completing the associated wall tiling, and repositioning the plug socket. I have the required parts. Cupboard/light: Correct the cupboard door arrangement so that the door can open normally without striking the kitchen light. I have the replacement two-sided doors, which only require fitting. Extractor: Install a suitable replacement extractor in the correct position above the existing gas hob, maintaining the manufacturer's required minimum clearance of 650 mm from the hob. The previously installed extractor has been removed. This will include any necessary adjustments and finishing; removal of a small top row of tiles and retiling around the new extractor are expected. Worktop: Remove the existing defective worktop, fabricate and cut the replacement worktop I have available as necessary, and install and finish it properly, including the required sink and hob cut-outs, sealing and joints. The worktop runs along both side runs (approximately 1,760 mm and 1,814 mm respectively) and along the back run (approximately 2,850 mm). Cabinet components: Replace a small number (under five) of damaged internal cabinet components, where replacement parts are available. Wall tiling: Investigate and rectify loose wall tiles. In addition, complete the unfinished tiling and making-good around the extractor area, and complete the tiling within the present refrigerator area following the proposed worktop/cabinet extension. Sink/plumbing: Replace the old flexible tap connectors beneath the kitchen sink and rectify the plumbing associated with the relocated dishwasher. General completion: Carry out any necessary final adjustments, alignment and finishing to ensure that the kitchen units, doors, appliances, worktop and associated components are properly installed and function as intended. Thank you
